First Floor Corridor

The corridor begins in the Grand Staircase Tower at the first floor level. It connects to the Stone Bridge and passes by the entrance to the Transfiguration Courtyard. Finally it becomes the Tapestry Corridor and enters the Viaduct Entrance.
The first-floor corridor also passes by the Marble Staircase, as the balcony above the Entrance Hall.

Transfiguration

The classroom is large with a high-ceiling. Desks are arranged neatly into rows at which the students can practice changing objects into other things.

Professor Bane's Office

In the center of the room is a large dark-red wooden desk. Papers and ink are placed neatly on the desk. Behind the desk a stone fireplace rests with "tamed" fiendfyre or curse flames in the fireplace. The flames are small and controlled and show images of animals.
Two chairs face the desk and a large chair sits behind the desk. A warm white light levitates just below the ceiling illuminating the room.

Defense Against the Dark Arts

Large windows look over the grounds, a grand-iron chandelier hanging from the ceiling. The room is constantly changing hands, and the appearance varies day to day.
