[hp=32/100] The final slug fell to the ground and Elita turned her death gaze on Liam, her eyes narrowed, her wand gripped tightly in her grip. She was losing! This wasn't supposed to be happening! She directed her wand towards him, a dark, cruel grin playing on her lips. "Confri--" she was cut off as the boy threw a large branch at her again, causing the spell to go awry. But, instead of catching fire to the branch, it simply caused it to spark, smolder, and crack, falling down towards the boy. She pushed away at the branch, trying to get back up to be in a better position for his retaliation. She couldn't lose! She couldn't! Nothing would stop her from winning tonight. It wasn't that she had her reputation that was driving her, moreover the fact that, deep down, she was scared what he would do after he won.

[hp=30/100] Elita growled angrily at him, and was prepared to throw another spell at him, who cared about proper dueling anyways? when he threw Impedimenta at her. She felt her feet give way and she fell into the mud, not quite face first, but enough to give the front of her robes covered in it. She picked up her hand, pointing it at him, a spell forming on her lips when she noticed something. Her wand! She must have dropped it in the mud. She swore loudly, something that you should never hear come from an eleven year old's mouth, and started moving her hands through the mud, trying to find her wand. She couldn't lose it! You can't win a duel without a wand! Well, you could, but Elita wasn't going to throw a punch. At least, not yet. She needed her wand.

[hp=30/100] Elita found her wand, turning it on the boy once again, when a voice entered her head. "The pillar is fire, of a dragon. The dragon, she laid an egg. And the egg is important. The egg needs to be brought back to the castle. The egg, it must go back to the castle. The egg needs to get inside the walls, to prevent a greater evil." She clamped her hands over her ears, but it still bled through. It was in her head! When the voice stopped, she turned her attention back to the Hufflepuff, blasting him backwards with a shout of "Flipendo!" she narrowed her eyes, daring him. "What the Hell? How the fuck did you get into my head," she snarled, her wand still pointed at him. What was going on? Dragon? In the forest? Unheard of! The boy must be doing some sort of Magic he looked up! Trying to mess with her head! He didn't want her winning, as much as she didn't want him to. She watched for a response, wand at the ready.

[hp=28/100] The boy flipped backwards, and she smiled brightly at him. He started talking, saying that he didn't do it. But if he didn't, who did? And why the Hell would they run back to go get the Dragon egg. Hello! There was a Dragon with it! They were just First Years, they couldn't take on a troll, let alone a dragon! Did he want to die? She edged closer to him, but fell again as he used another spell on her. She refrained from swearing, rather using her angle to use her next spell. She had missed earlier, but she was not going to miss again. Elita had the perfect shot. She pointed her wand at the underbrush material near his feet, and gave a slow smirk. "Seeing as you can't burn in Hell, why don't you burn here? Confringo!" she shouted, watching as the flames leaped towards him, catching the underbrush and the bottom of his robes aflame. She laughed with glee, pushing herself back up onto her feet, smiling. i don't believe in ties. :3

[hp=26/100] Elita laughed as he put out the flames, but he seemed to have lost some of his own personal fire. He didn't seem like he wanted to fight anymore. He seemed... Drained. Content even. That would not do at all! He simply cast the Trip Jinx again and caused her to fall, but he wasn't going to fight! This wasn't fair. She couldn't just take him down. That wouldn't be right! It wasn't like he was giving up, but he was at the same time. What was wrong with him. She eyed the branch that was near her, and pointed her wand at it. "Wingardium Leviosa," she turned back to the boy. "Just a bit of revenge, for the times you hit me with this," she said lightly, and then spun her wand, and the log-like branch towards him, knocking him back and off-balance. She gave a sardonic laugh. If he was going to last much longer, she would be impressed greatly.

[hp=26/100] It was no use. If the boy wasn't going to fight back, knocking him unconscious would just be a bigger load on her shoulders. Elita doubted, though the boy was rather puny, that it would be hard work dragging him back to the Castle without people noticing. Besides, she wasn't cruel enough to leave him in the forest to the... Creatures that lurked inside. She may not like the kid, but leaving him to a dragon, or worse, was beyond hatred of any kind. He said it was over, and she nodded. She inspected her wand, rubbing off some mud, before putting it back into the pocket she had in the sleeve of her robe. She gave a weak smile, though she wasn't quite sure why. Though no one truly won or lost this duel, she had a feeling the boy would cause trouble in her own future, no matter how distant that may be. She wouldn't be buddies with him, unless she got hit in the head and had a memory lapse, but something told her that knocking him out would be bad for the future. "Good duel, Liam," she said quietly, though sincere. She wasn't going to mock him. He had, in fact, saved her life when the werewolf showed up.
