Description:
George has fairly long, blonde hair which is shoulder length and falls in front of his eyes. Although it is blonde his hair has different streaks underneath which are a darker shade of blonde. His eyes are fairly large with long eyelashes framing them, although his eyelashes are a paler shade of black and not so obvious from a distance. His eyes are a clear cornflower blue and have a darker ring around the iris which is quite thick and therefore easily noticed; if you focus closer on his eyes you can see that there are flecks of pale green present. George's skin is tanned despite his fair hair.Personality:
His facial features are quite small compared to his large eyes which are the focus of his face. George is of an average height for his age although he wishes to be taller. He is also fairly skinny and therefore he doesn't have much visible muscle and is considered scrawny although he is actually fairly strong. George has long and fairly thin fingers, he considers this a disadvantage to his looks as he used to be teased as they looked like spider fingers, although they are really an advantage as they allow George to reach further.
On the top of George's left shoulder he has a peculiar shaped birthmark which is dark brown in colour. The birthmark resembles a lopsided heart and George feels that this is feminine and girly so he tries to make sure that it is hidden. The birthmark is a genetic trait that runs through his family on his mothers side, although George is the only one of his siblings who has this. Along with the birthmark George also has a small dip in the cleft of his right ear, this dip is quite visible if his hair was short enough to reveal his ears. The clip in his ear appeared as a small child and his family aren't very sure how the gap appeared.
George is very much a boys boy, he has always wanted to have adventure and do something extraordinary. He appears to have courage and considers himself to be unshakable although in fact this is mainly just a bravado because he has never really experienced any danger to prove this. George has always cared about his family and younger siblings but at the same time he has been impatient about being able to attend Hogwarts and be allowed to use magic. He would like to see the world and hopefully be able to be considered a great Wizard.History:
George also has a softer side to him that he tries to hide in case he wasn't considered brave and courageous. George can show great care and kindness to other people especially if they are hurt or vulnerable. Although if prompted he will attempt to hide and shrug off any act of kindness as he dislikes being ridiculed. George can easily get attached to people and sometimes finds it hard to let them go and he greatly dislikes it when he upsets those that he cares about, such as his family. His attachment issues can sometimes be a problem and as a result George chooses carefully the company that he keeps so that he won't be hurt if he loses them.
George isn't very creative and tries to avoid all creative activities and if put in a situation where he feels uncomfortable he will become very shy. However George can be intelligent if he puts his mind to it but often he will lose concentration and become distracted easily. Despite this, George hates to be ridiculed and if he is then he will often lose his temper. If this happens George will then be very regretful and he will try and sort out what has gone wrong. George doesn't like hurting people's feelings and therefore he will try and apologise as he mostly blames himself for the problems.
Both of George's parents were born into the wizarding world and they have brought up their children to appreciate muggles but to also know the difference that separate the two worlds. George's father is called George as well as is all of the first born males on his fathers side of the family. His Mother is called Amy and he has three younger sisters: Amelia who is 9; Molly who is 7 and Imogen who is 4. George's family own a pub in the countryside which is frequented by both Muggles and Wizarding folk, which is why the family is very appreciative of muggles. As a result of the frequency of muggle visits to the pub George's parents rarely use magic themselves but they are keen for their children still to learn.Acceptance Letter: IMPERIO ate it
George's life was what he considered boring because he spent most of his time doing nothing but school and waiting around the pub watching the patrons. He always took more interest in the wizards and witches that occupied the pub because he was keen to learn about any interesting adventures that they had undergone. George rarely left the countryside and spent most of his childhood with both muggle children and a few children from wizards who lived in the nearby towns and villages. Despite all this George never really had a chance for adventure because his mother was a little overprotective of her children, as she worried that they could not defend themselves until they knew how to use magic. George's father did not want the children to venture out of the countryside because he had never really done so before he went to Hogwarts. George would be expected to own the pub when he was older as this was the tradition of his family.
When he received his acceptance letter George was very excited because this meant that he would be able to leave his boring home town and maybe have an adventure. His mother and father were both pleased and reluctant when they learned that George would be attending Hogwarts. They were glad that he would be able to meet other children who were like him and develop the magic skills that he may possibly need later on in life. They had both met each other at school. Despite all this his parents wanted him to stay with them and not have to worry about whether or not he would be in danger. It took a while for George to fully persuade them to allow him to go. George knows that if it had been any one of his sisters they wouldn't need so much persuasion because his parents doted on his younger siblings.
His parents are overprotective because George's mum, Amy, sister died when she was at school at Hogwarts because of a car accident that happened. The accident had nothing to do with the school but Amy blames herself for not being careful enough and therefore she wants to be able to keep a constant eye on her children. George knew all this but he was too excited to really listen to his parents. When it came for George to get his school supplies and to travel up to London, his parents had trouble ion keeping George safe from what they considered the dangers of the world.
