Description:

Lizzie has long straight blonde hair, although she has dyed the under layer of her hair black. Her side fringe just covers her right eye. Lizzie has green eyes with flecks of grey throughout the iris, just like her sister's. Lizzie has quite a thin nose but a wide smile.

Lizzie is slightly above average in height and is just two inches taller than her sister. Compared to her twin Lizzie is slightly bigger in height and shoe size although they are otherwise identical.

Lizzie tends to wear dark coloured clothes which are usually long sleeved. She is nearly always in jeans and often wears hoodies. Lizzie doesn't wear much makeup but she always has on black eyeliner, despite her age, she wears it to show her rebellious nature. Both Lizzie and her sister wear identical chains which both hold a key to their old house from when they were younger, it's a reminder of when they're life was happy and perfect.

Personality:

Although Lizzie is an identical twin her personality couldn't be any more different than Milly's. Despite this, as the older sister, Lizzie is very protective of Milly and she is the only person that Lizzie can trust. Milly means the world to Lizzie and they dislike being separated although if they were, Lizzie would be able to handle it better than Milly.

Lizzie is a very rebellious person and dislikes having to follow rules. She has always been the more dominant twin. Lizzie is very confident and fairly charismatic, she will openly go and talk to someone without any second thought. Despite this, Lizzie doesn't trust people very easily because of what happened with their parents when she was younger. Lizzie has a short fuse and can easily get angry, Milly is the only person to calm her down but by playing her guitar Lizzie can often release her anger if Milly isn't around to help.

As a result of her almost mean attitude and her coldness, Lizzie doesn't always maintain close friends although people generally take to her. Because of her lack of trust in anyone except Milly, Lizzie often judges people carefully before talking to them although she is a very open person. Milly often relies on Lizzie to help her make the "right" friends because Milly doesn't often see the bad in anybody.

History:

Lizzie and her twin sister, Milly, are both muggle born and were the only children of Julia and Max Paley. Before they received their letters for Hogwarts the family had never believed in magic. When they were younger they had a very happy life, where they were doted on by their parents. Their parents both had normal jobs and they went to school and had friends like any normal child. At this time both of the girls were placid and very similar in nature.

However when they were 7 their parents went through a nasty divorce and their happiness was shattered. As a result of the divorce they lost their house and both parents bought separate and smaller houses with their dad moving to a different town. The twins were then separated, with Milly living with their mum and Lizzie with their dad. It was at this point that Lizzie developed her rebellious attitude.

Both girls were extremely unhappy with the situation and despite constant protest to her dad about how she hated what was happening and how she hated him, the girls weren't able to see each other. Whenever Lizzie spoke about how unhappy she was without Milly, her dad would just say, "so what? There's nothing you can do about it so just grow up," As a consequence Lizzie became sullen and rebellious, dying her hair at the age of 9 in protest. Because of the separation Lizzie developed her anger issues as she didn't have Milly there to help her. The girls weren't allowed to see each other and it wasn't until they're friend, Shane, said something to their mum about how unhappy Milly was that something was done.

At the age of 10 and a 1/2, Lizzie had finally gone to live with Milly and their mum again. It was at this point that the girls made sure they would never leave each other again. so, when they both received their letters for Hogwarts they were overjoyed. Not only would they be able to stay together in secondary school but also be able to leave their parents, whom Lizzie now despises.
