Personality:
Skye has a look that she feels is way too common. Her natural hair and eyes are both what she considers a 'dull poop brown'. Her nose is average sized--but bigger than she would like. She has semi-thick eyebrows that many girls older than her would pluck.
She is not very tall, only reaching the height of about five feet and two inches. Her skin is fair, pale, and freckle-less. And like every other girl her age, she is starting to feel the wrath of pre-teen skin (AKA zits).
In order to make herself a little less 'boring' or 'plain', Skye has taken it upon herself to dye her hair an unnatural shade of red. It falls just below her small chest, and she's growing it longer. It will one day hit her small waist around her belly button.
Loyal: Friendships are a very serious matter to Skye. If she makes a promise to someone, unless it is not possible, she will not break her promise. If a friend asks her for a favor, she'll say yes before even asking what is needed of her. If Skye was in a relationship, she would never stray. Her boyfriend would be more important than any other guy, and she would do nothing to be un-loyal.History:
Hyper: While it might be due to her young age, Skye has an abundance of energy. She can't sit still in desks--often times she'll bounce her legs, tap her fingers on the desk, roll around her wand, move around a lot. Some people find it distracting, but it's really hard for Skye to sit still. She likes to dance, run, skip, and twirl. Sitting down involves none of those.
Patient: While it may seem contradictory, Skye is actually good at waiting for things (as long as she doesn't have to sit still). She could stand in a line for two hours, and not be bothered by the wait, although she'd probably dance around singing to her iPod.
Kind: Mean words do not come out of Skye's mouth very often. She doesn't like hurting other people's feelings, and she cannot stand the idea of doing something that could hurt somebody in some way. Although if she is provoked too much (E.g. being harshly attacked verbally) she is likely to snap.
Born as the fourth child in a family of seven, Skye was the first child to be magical. At first, her parents were freaked out. Things would randomly disappear, nowhere to be found. Sometimes they would even find some of Skye's toys floating as she played. Odd things just seemed to happen when Skye was around. So when Skye received her acceptance letter to Hogwarts, her parents were both skeptical and relieved. Skye was just down right excited. She had longed her whole (short) life to stand out and to be different.Acceptance Letter: Bane lit it on fire
In a family of seven, it was hard to be different. It was hard to be noticed. There was always something going on with somebody. Chris had gotten sent to the principles office at school, or Jade was going on her first date. Skye loved her older brothers and sisters, but she couldn't help but to want to have something more unique about herself, so people would notice her more, too.
The lack of attention caused Skye to rebel at a younger age than most kids did. She started dying her hair red without her parents permission, staying up later than she was supposed to, and making prank phone calls. None of those acts were too bad, but the hair got the attention of her parents. After a long talk, they finally agreed to let her dye her hair red--but only because she had found a dye that did not use harmful chemicals.
After her' rebellious stage' came to a halt, things at home went back to their hectic norm. Everybody had a million things to do at a time, and Skye was still normal. Just normal with red hair. That is, until her Hogwarts letter came by owl. That day changed her life forever.
