Description:
Agitha has a slim frame. She's not very tall, barely reaching over 5'. It's never bothered her, though. She has a fair complexion, a trait from her mother. Her skin is milky smooth, with the faintest of freckles across the tops of her cheeks; there's only a few, nothing that jumps out at you. Her dark silky hair falls on her shoulders, wrapping around her neck and arms, curling the ends. Her hair can be quite unruly; flying in every which direction and become impossible for a comb to go through.Personality:
Her hair is a soft shade of auburn. Not quite a deep milky chocolate, but darker than a light brown. It has natural highlights throughout, probably from all her exposure to the sun.
She has teal eyes. More fierce and deeper than a sky blue, and a different shade all together than aqua. They're a perfect balance between the intensity you would see in the eyes of a wise women, and the innocence you'd find in a child's eyes.
In short, Agitha is a quirky individual who is sometimes lost in her own world. Her parents often worry that she's too isolated and withdrawn, but Agitha is perfectly happy. She enjoys being around people as much as any one else does(in her opinion), but she prefers the company of a much smaller individual; bugs.History:
Agitha adores insects. She loves to examine their tiny intricate bodies and all of their unique characteristics and abilities. In her bedroom at home she has jars full of various insects, including common muggle ones (though, she finds them more confusing and mundane). They are all beautiful to her. She has a separate area in the sun room designated to her insects. It's enclosed and offers various habitats, all preserved with spells her mother casted. In this area, she has her most prized, rare, beloved Billywig. After years of pestering her parents over how she would waste away if she was never to witness its physical beauty, they began the search. After several years, and several galleons, she has acquired her Billywig, which she lovingly calls 'Wiggy'. Though she is occasionally stung by it, it has become used to her presence and often leaves her be. She loves to watch it's bright sapphire body spin in the sunlight.
Agitha spends most of her time outdoors. She loves to enjoy fresh air and seeing nature at work. Although insects have a strong hold on her heart, Agitha has a love for all things outdoors: plants, animals, you name it. One of her favorite past times it to tend to her small garden where she grows plants for her insects. She sometimes has issues with insuring the success of the plant, and cannot wait till she can do a little magic to help them along.
Agitha has no siblings. Unbeknownst to her, this is mainly because her parents feel they somehow went strangely wrong with Agitha.
Agitha is carefree and the opinions of others, regarding herself, mean little to her. As long as she can curl up with her insects at the end of the day, every day is a wonderful day. People often have a hard time having conversations with her, because she mainly discusses insects.
She has a great enthusiasm for learning, specifically about insects, but she cannot wait to learn more magic. She's eager to start attending school.
Agitha is very caring, perhaps a trait she picked up from caring for her insects. She's always ready to help a person in need, even though she tends to be a little awkward.
As stated, Agitha is an only child. She is the child of Annette and Maxillary Crisstelia. Family friends refer to them as 'Anne' (never Annie), and 'Max'.Acceptance Letter: DONNA ate it
In Agitha's opinion, she has a pretty close relationship with her parents. Her mother loves to tote her to various shops, buying her new books on magical beasts and the occasional new dress robes. On that topic, Agitha has several book shelves lined with books on her various insects and other magical beasts. Her parents often throw various parties that require the attending witches and wizards to be dressed in their best. Her parents often bring Agitha along to various events as well. Anne will also help Agitha in her garden giving her advice on how to keep her plants living. Occasionally, Agitha's father will accompany her in her sun room, and to her delight, venture so far to ask a few questions about the various insects and plants.
Once, when she was about 9, her father had been sitting with her in the sun room. Agitha had been trying hard to have her Billywig come closer so that her father may see it's beauty better, and hopefully appreciate it like she did. She tried and tried to coax it closer, using its favorite plants to taunt it. Her precious Wiggy refused to come any closer than 15 feet, and Agitha felt quite fed up with its stubbornness. She had never felt so irritated before. Wiggy never had a problem approaching her. If Agitha felt it was safe for the Billywig to come close, the Billywig should of trusted her. Agitha stomped her foot in frustration, resulting in a potted plant being sent flying at the Billywig. The Billywig dodged it easily, and them zoomed around the room frantically. Agitha was devastated. What if she had injured her poor Billywig?
She had several more magical accidents in the garden, when she would become frustrated when one of her plants would die. She didn't have the full knack of it yet.
Maxillary works for the Ministry of Magic, in the Department of Magical Games and Sports. Agitha often tries to sit and listen, excitedly, to her father rant about Quidditch. However, its often quite boring to her. Although her father would probably faint from his chair if Agitha took up Quidditch, she's never played. She's never given it much thought, either. She sees it as a distraction from her bug time.
Anne works at St. Mungo's as a healer on the fourth floor; spell damage. This was how Anne came to meet Max. After a quidditch game, a fight had broken out amongst some of the players. Max had to step in, along with some other wizards, in an attempt to disarm the players. Max had been hit with a conjunctivitus curse, which causes great pain to the eyes. When Anne healed Max of the curse, the first thing he clearly saw was Anne's face, thus beginning their courting.
Agitha's parents wish that she was a bit more out going and sociable and are sometime unsure how to handle her. They are still trying to come to terms with her strange hobbies and seclusion. They hope that wants she starts school, she will become more sociable.
Agitha had been sitting in her room, watching a glumbumble zoom around in a jar, when a rusty-brown owl flew through her window, a letter pinched precisely in its mouth. Agitha eagerly ran down stairs to show her parents the letter. It was her acceptance letter into Hogwarts. Her parents were thrilled. They had both attended Hogwarts. Anne had been a Ravenclaw, and Max had been a Gryffindor. They both hoped that their daughter would be placed within one of those houses.
Agitha immediately began to zoom around her room. She started a list of prospective insects she could take with her to Hogwarts, questioning her parents on what they thought would be allowed. Above all else, she must take Wiggy. She was terrified what should happen to him if she was not there to check on him every day. She had lots of planning to do. Agitha was pumped and ready for Hogwarts.
