Emily is a fair girl. She has ivory, smooth skin with small freckles all over her skin. The freckles are very light and can sometimes not be seen, but in the summer days her freckles really stand out.Personality:
Her eyes are a deep chocolate brown. The ousides are dark brown and they mix into milk chocolate color towards the pupil. Her eyelashes a normal length and curl up to her eyebrows. Her eyebrows and dark brown and get smaller as it curves around the rim of the eye sockets.
Emily's hair is a gentle curl that can sometimes be wavey. It is a deep chestmut/maple brown that goes from light to darker as it goes from tip to root. The part is to down the middle and her bangs cover her forehead. Her hair is layered, which creates a lot of curls. Her normal hair is very frizzy and poofy, but Emily makes sure it doesn't look that way.
Emily is 4' 10", but considers herself to be short. She hates being short, but everybody else thinks she's normal height for an 11 year old girl.
Her lips are small and light pink. When she smiles, there are no dimples but she has the lines on both sides of her mouth, like everybody else.
Her ears, they may look like everybody else but there is a small problem. She is deaf. She has learned to read lips and she uses her other senses to try and make up for it, but she can't hide the fact that she's deaf.
Emily, well her personality is a bit different than normal Slytherins. Everybody says she was meant for Hufflepuff, but the Sorting Hat put her choice into consideration. She decided to chose Slytherin.History:
Emily cares very much about her looks. She wakes up early just so she can get ready. She will not go out without herself looking pretty. She still hasn't figured out how to make it less frizzy, but she's on her way.
If anybody calls her ugly or messes up her hair or makeup, she will get very mad. She can really call someone out and call them nasty names.
If anybody is mean to Emily's friends, she will become the nastiest witch int he building. She protects her friends like her own children. She is very loyal and when she comits to a friend or a girl, she REALLY commits.
That can also be a downside. If the people she commits to breaks her heart or betrays her, it really hurts her.
But nothing can keep her from her studies. Not her looks, not her broken heart, and sometimes not even her friends. Her life-long dream is to become the best witch of her age, and that's the one this she is really determined to do. She is ambitious and is determined to get the best job and the best scores. If every single exam is passed and every grade is an O, then she is really happy.
Emily also doesn't like to get in trouble, but sometimes it comes to her. She tend to be int he wrong place at the wrong time, which makes her seem really mean and Slytherin-like.
Emily can be very self-centered and can be very mean sometimes, but she really cares about helping people in need.
On the otherhand, if you need the truth, she will give it to you...with no sugar coating!
Emily was born on November 28th. She grew up in a normal Muggle household in Manchester. She has a mother named Marie and a father names Charles. Her mother is 46 years old and her father is 51 years old. They were in their 30s when they had Emily and moved into a new apartment in Manchester.Acceptance Letter: DONNA ate it
That's when Marie and Charles found out Emily was deaf. They were sad and scared at first, making Marie cry for months, but Charles got her out of it. They then started working hard on teaching ehr sign language and hwo to read lips, making it sure nobody will ever even think she was deaf.
It was really easy for Emily to learn, she is a witch after all. She caught on really fast, and sometimes if she has a rage of emotions; she can hear clips of sound.
Emily was a single child until she was 6 years old. That was when her mother got magically pregnant with her little sister. Before Emily, Marie got tested and it said that she couldn't have a baby. Emily was a complete surprise and they weren't expecting a second one, but they got another beautiful daughter.
When Emily turned 6, Lily was born three days after. Emily was excited for a whole week, until she realised her parents were more excited about Lily. She started to get mad and that was the first time any of her magic was shown. Over night, Lily's crib caught on fire and was burnt down, with Lily in it. Everythign around it and Lily was untouched, but the crib was burnt down. Her parents didn't knwo what happened.
There were several other events that happened that started to make Marie and Charles confused, and scared. When Emily turned 11, she finally got her letter to Hogwarts. It explained everything abotu the wizarding world and how to get the supplies. Emily was grinning and Lily was begging to go too, even at 5 years old.
Marie and Charles were so proud of Emily, but the pride turned to nerves. They had to confront goblins, get pets and supplies, and recieve a magic wand. At the end of the day, though, Emily's parents were happy to see that emily could finally go to a school where she can be accepted.
On the Hogwarts Express, Emily didn't know anybody. Everything was so new. She came to a compartment that had a girl that looked older than her in it, but it was the only one left. Emily sat inside and they started talking. Turns out the girl's name was Elita and she was 11 also. Elita wanted to be in Slytherin house, and Emily didn't know any of the houses so she decided to latch onto that idea.
