Elita is not your common eleven year old. She has definitely developed faster than her other classmates, for sure. She is tall and lanky, as she has just hit her growth spurt, and now rests at a five-six height, which makes some of the other girls intimidated by her, some probably jealous, and makes her easy to spot in the crowds if she's around other people her age. Because of this, it can sometimes make her awkward on her feet, and clumsy. She doesn't let this get in her way.Personality:
Everything about Elita can make you want to take her picture. She's model pretty, despite her young age. Her siblings would tease her about how, since she's aged so much already, that she's going to lose her appeal to people. But, if she's anything like the genes she's gotten from her mother, she should continue to become prettier as she ages.
As of now, she's a fair colored girl. A light dash of freckles covers the bridge of her nose, a result of the sun. Her cheeks will easily be flushed in the cold, giving her more of an childish-like look that matches her age. When she is in bright light, she looks extremely pale, but in normal lights, she looks the perfect golden tone that days in the sun gives you.
Her most prominent feature are her eyes. They are a deep blue, like the sky after a deep storm, the sun setting over the horizon and creating a bright blue color. Her gaze can mesmerism you eye, catching you attention and keeping you listening to whatever it is she has to say. They are the most innocent feature on her face, at least when she isn't glaring you down and wishing you were dead.
As she ages, she will start wearing bits of make-up around her eyes, and using a cover-up to hide her freckles. The make-up makes her eyes stand out, giving her an eerie look that practically screams "don't mess with me". But, you won't see a lot of this make-up quite yet.
Her brown hair frames her face in a very loose, wave fashion. Depending on your lighting, it looks from an auburn brown to a very dark, almost black, brunette. She prefers to wear it down, though a lose and messy bun, a pony-tail, or even braids will sometimes adorn her hair. She takes great pride in her hair, but she doesn't actually spend much time in the mornings trying to make it look like it does. It just happens.
She wears the school uniform only when she has too. She prefers the skirt and top, but she has found ways to, no permanently of course, alter the ropes so that it looks more like a dress than a trash bag. Personally, she loves the tie more than anything, and would even wear it just around if she had the chance too.
When she's not in her robes, she can be found in a wide variety of other outfits. She will be seen in dresses, though most of them are sort of punk rock-ish. They aren't the kind of dress you'd wear to church. Either loose fitting with intricate patterns or a plain dress that is a little more form fitting. Most of the aforementioned dresses look more like long tee-shirts than dresses.
If she's not in a dress, she'll be your common pre-teen. Trying to be a teenager. Tank tops, jeans, shorts, graphic tees, hoodies. She'll even wear some flare out shirts and wide skirts, helping bring back that classic retro look. She knows the styles that are in, and trust me, she's not going to go around trying to look just like any other girl. No, she's going to be the one you go to bed thinking about.
Elita is uncannily lucky and a very good singer. Her name literally translates to "unknown song of luck". While Elita's translation is not literally "unknown" there is not any signs of it being more than a made up name. Her first name, however, is nothing like her personality. While her title may be made up and unknown, you'd have to be blind, deaf, and dumb not to know this beauty around Hogwarts. The odds are ever in her favor when it comes to making friends and even getting a few crushes along the way.History:
Elita is a total flirt. I wouldn't bring it up though. Though she may be too young to be flirting, she definitely knows how to get boys to do what she wants. If she wanted too, there would almost be no doubt that she could get girls to do her bidding as well. There's no doubt in anybody's mind that she's going to be a heart-throbbing, heart-breaker when she grows up.
Now, with her wit and charm, you'd think she'd have to be in Ravenclaw or Gryffindor or even Hufflepuff. But, no. While you may think Elita would rather use her looks and personality to get what she needs, she values her ambition and cunning above all else. She'll make a terrible choices often, making her fit in with the Slytherin crowd perfectly. Though, at this time, she is only eleven, she has experimented with a few drugs in her lifetime.
Not that she takes them all the time, but she does knowa fewseveral dealers and could easily get hooked up if she wanted too. But, alas, she is only eleven, and doesn't want to use up any money on drugs that she could be using for the necessities at Hogwarts. She may act like an idiot at times, however, she knows her priorities, even if she doesn't follow them at times.
She holds up the flirt wall hard. It's actually to keep people from hurting her. But if you manage to slip past it, get into her head just a bit more, you'll find her a fairly good friend. You'll probably be visiting the Headmaster's office a lot more than you've planned too, you're going to be having a good time while you're at it. Not to mention she'll try and take as much blame off of you as she can. She couldn't lose a partner in crime, of course. Then her secrets could get out.
Elita can also be very crazy at times. But, this side of her. The side that will do crazy insane things for the people that she loves. She does not know that this side exists yet, therefore, I don't need to explain this side until she ages a few years and starts to fall in love.
If you're looking for a future long-term relationship, of course it won't really happen now!, but you can tell now that it will be hard to get her to settle down for one guy. Her major weakness is not being able to choose what's necessarily the best for her. So, while one boy might be making her happy and innocent, she might be keeping another one close on the sidelines. One that will keep her on her toes.
However, it will be the shy, quite boy that will win her heart in the end. There needs to be somebody that will counter-act her rebel side. But no matter how much luck she's been having, she hasn't met anybody who she hasn't demented into her ways of crazy living. Her personality is absolutely infectious, and if you don't tread lightly, you could very well be on your way to being face-to-face with your worst nightmare.
Elita Daina deLaima was born the third wizarding child of Elizabeth "Effy" deLaima and Neobanito deLaima on the coldest day of December. She was born Christmas Eve, a blessing to her family and her two older siblings. She was named Elita, a combination of her parents names. They were the last child they were going to give birth too, as they didn't want to chance giving birth to a Squib. When Elita turned two, her family was elated to recieve two letters from Hogwarts accepting her two older siblings to Hogwarts. Both of them made it into Slytherin. Though Elita was too young to know this at the time, her parents gushed about it to their other wizarding friends constantly, to the point that Elita always grew up with "Slytherin, Slytherin, Slytherin!" By the time she was eight, her siblings were constantly trying to teach her magic. Because of her growing up in such a strong wizarding world, she didn't have many uncontrolled outbursts.
Her siblings tried to teach her spells without actually using their magic. While they were still somewhat bad examples, they weren't' stupid enough to mess with the Ministry. They ended up being the object of one Elita's first rages of magic, where their hair turned a bright pink and green, because she was fed up with them playing pranks on her about who was who.
The family was absolutely ecstatic.
Her siblings got her mixed up in the wrong crowd though, despite how much younger she was. They knew how to get things you shouldn't, and weren't the best example for anybody. When she turned ten, her siblings were kicked out of the house, but not before they dared her to try a few drugs. She was not addicted to them, but they did leave a big dip in her life that should not have existed while she was still so young.
By the time she turned eleven, there was no doubt that she was a witch. When she received the letter, she also was sent a package from her two older siblings. She packed this in her trunk, under the basic things her parents had given her, planning to save whatever it may be for a "rainy day".
She boarded the Hogwarts Express soon thereafter, and on board met a girl named Emily. The girl seemed very confused about Hogwarts, what was wrong with her? everybody knew about Hogwarts, so she explained to her everything she knew. By the end, she convinced the girl of the Slytherin House. Her quest for school dominance has only just begun...
